Unreleased Prince Music Debuted at Milan Fashion Week
Gifts from Prince to Donatella Versace.
Months after his passing, Prince‘s legacy is stronger than ever. With tributes pouring in and his rarest records commanding hefty price tags, some unreleased Prince music has made its way to public speakers. A close friend of the late legend, Donatella Versace had access to some never-before-heard, 1995 Prince tracks thanks to some very valuable “gifts” given to her by the artist. Choosing to use the recent Versace Men’s SS17 showcase at Milan Fashion Week to debut the music, Donatella Versace conveyed the following via an official press statement:
“The soundtrack features never-before-heard music by Prince, which was written and recorded as a personal gift to Donatella Versace…Donatella would like to use this special occasion as an opportunity to share this incredible music from a dear, and much missed friend.”
