Diesel Black Gold Riffs on Workwear for 2017 Spring/Summer

Seersucker that’s unfit for the country club.

The Diesel Black Gold 2017 spring/summer line adopts a traditional spring color palette and plays with traditional workwear styles to create a collection that is urban, functional and very wearable. Making use of khaki, light blue and pale pink along with the indigo denim Diesel is known for, Creative Director Andreas Melbostad has managed to produce a collection with edge out of tones and fabrics you might expect to find at a country club. Splashing seersucker with black paint, adding straps and pockets-on-pockets to khaki pants and showing kimono wrap tops made from denim are just some of the ways the designer riffs on styles that might otherwise appear mundane. To round out the collection, Melbostad shows plenty of of Diesel signature skinny-cut, long inseam jeans and work pants, stacking them over motorcycle boots, gladiator sandals and clean white sneakers. View the complete collection above, and tell us if you’ll be picking up any of the Diesel Black Gold 2017 spring collection.
