Game of Thrones fans were in for a treat last night as the most anticipated episode this season aired in epic fashion. Perhaps one of the most talked-about scenes in the “Battle of the Bastards” chapter was the war for Winterfell between Jon Snow and Ramsey Bolton. In this 10-minute documentary, you get to go behind the scenes and hear from those who were involved in creating the segment as they explain how much work went into perfecting this colossal moment. The sequence took nearly 80 hours in 25 shooting days to finish and included 500 extras, 600 crew members, and four camera crews to get everything just right. In the video, actor Kit Harrington also mentions that he nearly got trampled in one of the scenes involving 40 horses coming at him full charge.
