Following the renowned success of his Hamilton musical, playwright composer and creative Lin-Manuel Miranda has just shared a previously unreleased Mobb Deep track titled, “Boom Goes The Cannon.” The song is part of ongoing #HamilDrops campaign that finds Miranda collaborating with musicians to share new Hamilton-themed records every month. The song also arrives almost one year to the day of Prodigy’s untimely passing back on June 20, 2017.
