After President Donald Trump disinvited the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House, basketball superstars LeBron James and Stephen Curry are now stating their respective NBA teams will not visit should they win this year’s NBA Finals. During an NBA Finals media appearance, James spoke up about the recent situation regarding the NFL team, “I actually just found out about it when I was walking up to the podium, I really didn’t digest it enough. It’s typical of him [President Donald Trump]. I’m not surprised. Typical of him. I don’t know…I mean no matter who wins this series, no one wants the invite anyways.”

According to ESPN’s Chris Haynes, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry shared the same sentiment shortly afterwards claiming, “I agree with ‘Bron.” After winning the 2017 NBA Finals, the Warriors were also turned down from a visit to the White House. Watch James’ interview clips below.
