Assuring his fans Deadstar 2 is still on the way, Smokepurpp abruptly dropped a track off the forthcoming project.

Taking to Twitter, Purpp said, “I feel like throwing up a song on SoundCloud right now, hmmm” shortly before releasing “Deadstar Lifestyle.” An apparent self-leak, the new bouncy song is believed to appear on Deadstar 2, serving as the first official take of the mixtape. Riding the catchy instrumental produced by soundboi, throughout the track, the Florida-rapper chronicles his new lifestyle after launching his rap career, focusing on the elements of excess.
