La MJC & Mizuno Honor Club 75 Anniversary With Limited Wave Rider 1
Drawing inspiration from David Hammons’ ‘African American Flag.’
Michael Dupouy’s La MJC agency joined forces with Mizuno on a special Wave Rider 1 silhouette to commemorate the third anniversary of Dupouy’s co-owned Club 75 boutique. The sneaker’s colorway was inspired by the red and green hues of artist David Hammons’ African American flag artwork. As far as construction details are concerned, the trainer is equipped with black mesh textiles across the uppers alongside suede and premium leather overlays in red and green accents. Topping off the design execution are co-branded heel tabs, leather insoles and three pairs of laces in black, red, and green options.
The kicks will be made available for purchase exclusively in-store at Club 75 starting June 23. An online release will follow on June 24 at 7 pm CET.
