London Rapper Jay Prince Returns With 'Late Summers'
Featuring assists from Axlfolie, Shakka, Aminé, and more.

Just last month, Jay Prince took to Twitter to announce the impending release of his latest mixtape and, with summer officially right around the corner, the London rapper’s Late Summers has arrived. Perfect for the warmer months ahead, the project includes the previously released Shakka-featured “Mandem” and includes eleven tracks in all. And Shakka isn’t the only one to make a contribution to the album: Late Summers sees the R&B crooner joined by the likes of Axlfolie, Aminé, Fabienne, Mahalia, and Avelino.
Said Prince to The FADER about the aforementioned track:
“Mandem” is about realizing how far I’ve come and grown as an artist being able to get to a place where you never thought you could reach. Shakka was the best fit for me as a feature on this song, firstly because I’m a big fan of his and secondly because he is someone who I respect and have built a relationship with naturally. It was dope being able to work with an artist who has a good ear musically and just gets how this shit goes.
