The artist also speaks out about the racist vandalism of LeBron James’ home.
Grammy award-winning artist Chance the Rapper recently dropped by The View for an extensive interview. Chance and the ladies discussed a wide range of topics, including his rise as an unsigned artist, how he is known as a “Christian rapper” and his recent charitable contributions to Chicago Public Schools and more. The artist also went over what he looks for in a collaboration stating, “Somebody who I admire artistically, somebody who I’ve listened to at least a little bit and I like someone who has a little bit of free time. I don’t like to work through the internet — that’s like the new thing. People send vocals back and forth. So, I’ll usually hit up somebody, ask them if they have 2 or 3 days to come to Chicago, they’ll fly in, we’ll work on some production ideas, work out 2 or 3 songs and then figure out where to play some.” Additionally, Chance revealed that he doesn’t feel like he’ll be running for president anytime soon noting he doesn’t think he could do it. Check out the interview above and let us know what you think.
