Stephen Curry Debuts the New Under Armour Curry 4 During Game 1 of the NBA Finals
Toyed with a triple-double in his first outing wearing the new kicks.

Taking to the bright lights, big stage of this years NBA Finals, Golden State Warriors’ superstar Steph Curry recently debuted his latest signature shoe with Under Armour. An artistic departure from the Curry 3, the new Curry 4 model features an upper comprised from a knit, leather and suede mashup with a new snug sock-like collar at the ankle region. Sporting a clean-white base, hits of metallic gold land on the midsole branding and in the form of speckled splatter, not to mention on the UA heel emblem.
When asked to comment on the making of the shoe, vice president and general manager of Under Armour’s global basketball business Ryan Drew had this to say: “It’s really the first shoe that Steph was involved in every step in the process from the ideation all the way through to the finished product.” He later added, “He wanted the knit part of the shoe at the top to have a seamless intersection between the foot and the ankle especially when he wears the braces.”
The new UA Curry 4 is slated for an early October release. Stay tuned for more details regarding drop date and locations.
