GT Tells a Life-Changing Story for "Supposed to Be Here" Video
Directed by Young Thug collaborator Be El Be.
One of Detroit’s most talented rappers, GT is ready to discover newfound levels of success as he enters the OG stages of his career. Continuing to carry the torch for the classic Dirty Glove Entertainment movement, the longtime East Detroit artist served up a new studio album, Relentless, at the beginning of this year. Supporting the project with a new video, GT delivers a new clip for Relentless opener “Supposed to Be Here.”
“Supposed to Be Here” is GT’s personal favorite cut off Relentless, and features a different sonic side of “First Day Out” producer Helluva. The song features emotive, striking vocals from track collaborator B. Ryan, who ties the song’s powerful narrative together with its hook. Notably, the video for “Supposed to Be Here” was brought to life by director Be El Be, who is best known for helping jumpstart the career of Atlanta superstar Young Thug.
