Drake swept Canada’s Much Music Video Awards on June 19, taking home five trophies for the viral sensation that was “Hotline Bling,” including Video of the Year, Best Hip-Hop Video, and a Best Director win for Director X. He also took home the coveted Most Buzzworthy Canadian award.

Drake himself was a no-show at the Toronto event, with presenter Amber Rose noting: “[Drake] wanted to come. He’s shooting a video in the Dominican Republic right now but he told me personally that he loves you guys so much and he wishes he could be here.”

The 6 God wasn’t the only OVO soldier winning, though: Majid Jordan shared the best MuchFACT video award for “My Love” with Drizzy and took home best post-production for “Every Step, Every Way.”
