Footpatrol & PRO-Keds Are Launching Kicks Inspired by London's Fabric Houses
The Royal Hi “Patchwork” drops later this week.
Thanks to its old school simplicity, the Royal Hi has long been one of PRO-Keds’ go-to silhouettes. So, naturally, when it came time to drop a collaboration with the UK’s Footpatrol, the retro high-top was picked as the canvas. Taking cues from the array of fabric houses that populate Footpatrol’s own stomping grounds in London, the special “Patchwork” edition of the Royal Hi — as the name suggests — dons a patchwork upper crafted from a bevy of different textiles. The result is a unique combination of Wolverine suede, denim, wool, madras plaid, polka-dotted jacquard, unbleached duck canvas, shirting stripes, and oiled leather that comes complete with special chenille logo patches.
Look for the Footpatrol x PRO-Keds Royal Hi “Patchwork” to hit Footpatrol this Friday, June 24 before making its way to prokeds.com and additional retailers June 30.
