It seems that Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures heard the hashtag prayers of Spider-Man fans on Twitter: Donald Glover has reportedly joined the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Glover’s role in the 2017 reboot has not been disclosed as of yet, but the film is set to star Tom Holland as Spidey, Michael Keaton as an unidentified villian, Zendaya as the female lead and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May. Robert Downey Jr. will also reprise his iconic role as Tony Stark/Iron Man. This isn’t Glover’s first foray into the legendary Spidey lore – he also voices Miles Morales in the television cartoon Ultimate Spider-Man.
