Here's Our First Look at James Wan's Upcoming 'Aquaman' Movie
Welcome to Atlantis.
The James Wan-directed DCEU film Aquaman is finally the subject of some official imagery, offering a better look at the film’s underwater world as previously teased in last year’s Justice League. The film focuses on Jason Momoa‘s Aquaman alongside his mother, played by Nicole Kidman, and Amber Heard as his love interest, Mera, in the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. In the images, we get a first look at Patrick Wilson’s King Orm, brother of Aquaman aka Arthur Curry. We also have our first look at the main villain Black Manta, played by actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Get Down).
Check out the pictures below and catch Aquaman in theaters on December 21.
In related news, Ben Affleck is unlikely to reprise his role as Batman in the Dark Knight’s upcoming standalone film.
