A-Trak just announced a DJ and beat battle competition called the Goldie Awards. With Diplo and Just Blaze as judges, the competition was developed by Fool’s Gold in partnership with Vice‘s music channels, THUMP and Noisey. Taking place September 7 at Brooklyn Steel and hosted by Dave East, six contestants will be chosen for both categories of DJ and beat battle. In addition to Diplo and Just Blaze, judges include Mannie Fresh, Mija, Craze, Destructo and Whooligan. Watch the trailer for the competition above.
