Slam Jam Socialism heads to the A-COLD-WALL* studio for a brief chat with designer Samuel Ross. As he develops ideas on the computer, tacks up mood board inspiration and shows off bespoke goods, he explains how he explores his craft. Deconstruction plays a major role in the brand because, “it feels quite natural … to be able to strip away and reduce,” Ross notes. Ross explains that his background in graphic design influences his adventurous clothing designs, underscored by imagery of worn-down sneakers and design notes for various pants.
