A Martin Margiela Documentary Is on Its Way
The first film involving the reclusive designer.
Following on from the latest Alexander McQueen trailer, a new Martin Margiela documentary has been confirmed for next year. Titled Without Compromise, the film — directed by Reiner Holzemer and produced by Dogwoof — will feature input from the famously reclusive Maison Margiela founder.
Speaking to Variety about the project, a member of the Dogwoof team described Margiela as “enigmatic and mysterious” before revealing that this is “the first time Margiela has agreed to be part of any film about his life or work.” There’s no firm news on when “Without Compromise” will release, but expect more details to emerge before its arrival next year.
