adidas CEO Says the Company Hasn't Discussed Dropping Kanye West
But did distance himself from Ye’s “slavery is a choice” comments.

adidas AG CEO Kasper Rorsted recently did an interview where he discussed the brand’s recent earnings as well as the Kanye West furor. The chief executive officer was pressed on the comments, at first giving no comment and then, after being asked several times by Bloomberg‘s presenters, said that “there are clearly some comments we don’t support.”
Rorsted also said that company has planned to talk with Kanye West about his comments, but reiterated how important the artist is to the company’s plans. When the CEO was asked about whether adidas had discussed the idea of dropping West, Rorsted simply said “no.” He was also asked about whether the brand would drop Reebok, something he also answered no to. After the TMZ interview, West tried to clarify his slavery remarks.
