MADSAKI Unveils Merchandise for "COMBINATION PLATTER" Exhibition
Some lifestyle items from the Japanese artist.
Since his debut solo exhibition in Seoul last year, Kaikai Kiki-artist MADSAKI follows-up with a new solo exhibition in Bangkok entitled, “COMBINATION PLATTER.” In collaboration with Galerie Perrotin and Central Embassy, the show features a comprehensive showcase of MADSAKI’s work, serving as the artist’s largest installation to-date. The title of the exhibit is a homage to the infamous combination dish found on most Chinese takeout menus in America. Since growing up in New York from a young age, MADSAKI’s unique cultural identity has been a focal point for much of his graffiti-inspired masterpieces. The merchandise will be available for purchase at the SIWILAI Store located in Central Embassy; including mugs, lighters, pins, and a tote bag featuring original MADSAKI artwork. Additionally, the merch includes a skateboard deck made in collaboration with GLOBE. The show will be on exhibit from May 8 to June 3, be sure to check it out if you’re in the Bangkok area.
