L.A. Reid Has Been Accused of Sexual Harassment

Music mogul and former chairman & CEO of Epic Records L.A. Reid have reportedly been accused of sexual harassment. The news comes a few days after the industry veteran’s sudden departure from Epic Records and Sony Music and is part of an exclusive report by the NY Post details several instances of inappropriate advances and alleged sexual harassment. The events transpired mainly at a company holiday party last December and are detailed in a letter from March 22 that was sent from the accuser to Sony Music’s General Counsel. In the letter, she says that Reid asked her “to lie down in bed with him and give him a hug while the two were at a hotel while traveling on business.”
It was only four days ago that news of his leaving Epic records became well known.
