Teaming up with SOPHNET. designer Hirofumi Kiyonaga, Japanese streetwear godfather Hiroshi Fujiwara recently took over KIYONAGA&CO. for a special pop-up.
Dubbed FUJIWARA&CO., the pop-up is set to go on for three weeks and features a full store makeover complete with temporary rebranding courtesy of the fragment design head. Now officially open, we now get an exclusive look at the limited items and artwork available at the special retail experience.
Leading the artwork offerings is a series of reflective wall pieces like the fragment Mirror, Frame Mirror and Canvas Mirror which serve as functional space accouterments. While a simple reversible pop-up branded Alpha Industries MA-1 collab and the nostalgic POOL aoyama and PARK・ING GINZA “DEAD STOCK” Remake T-shirts standout amongst the range of garments available. Additionally, Hiroshi Fujiwara collaborated with famed two Michelin star restaurant Gaggan on a run of yuzu pepper Nama-Chocolates which comes branded with a play on Initial D‘s “Fujiwara Tofu Shop.”
