Keanu Reeves & Winona Ryder Reconnect for the New Rom-Com 'Destination Wedding'
The pair have been working on films together for over 25 years.
The third Bill & Ted movie isn’t the only major movie Keanu Reeves is involved in: he’s also a got a high-profile romantic comedy with Winona Ryder on the way. Titled Destination Wedding, the forthcoming Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder film comes to us courtesy of writer and director Victor Levin and U.S. distributor Reggata. The films centers around the romantic connection between Frank and Lindsay, two individuals whose awkward chance encounter at an airport leads to a spark at a mutual friend’s destination wedding.
To promote Destination Wedding before its summer debut, Reggata has released the film’s official lead trailer. You can view the aforementioned clip above, and expect the movie to hit theaters on August 24. Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder previously worked together in 1992’s Dracula, 2006’s A Scanner Darkly and 2009’s The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.
