Elhaus’s SS18 Collection Combines Key Workwear & Military-Inspired Accents
Reinterpreting the tiger camo print and boro patchwork.

Fresh for Spring/Summer 2018, Elhaus returns to present its latest lookbook titled “Motion.” The Jakarta-based lifestyle label has found a home reworking casual staples with a certain workwear and/or military-inspired inflection, which more than shows up in its most recent offering. Key design sensibilities include the use of kendogi fabric, in addition to a tiger camo print adaptation, not to mention the invention of digi boro — a fabric that resembles Japanese-style patchwork but instead achieves its signature aesthetic through a graphic process.
The collection itself is comprised of lightweight outerwear, highlighting color-blocked patterns and supplementary pockets, boldly-printed souvenir-style shirts, and straight-legged trousers, amongst others. The full collection is now up for grabs via the brand’s online shop.
