Vans Vault & Pilgrim Surf + Supply Revamp Classic Styles for Spring/Summer 2018 Capsule
New spins on the Authentic LX and OG Style 36 LX.
Along with the introduction of the Old Skool and Authentic’s two-toned denim makeovers, Vans has partnered with Pilgrim Surf + Supply to launch a collaborative Vans Vault capsule.
Specifically, Vans Vault and Pilgrim Surf + Supply have produced new spins on the OG Style 36 LX and the Authentic LX. Notably, the sneakers feature canvas and suede materials, custom footbeds, subtle streaks of leather on the exterior, leather lining, and a Pilgrim-branded tab label. For colorways, the two brands have chosen eye-catching and accessible olive and purple (“Eggplant”) designs.
You can take a look at the new Vans Vault and Pilgrim Surf + Supply collaboration above. Both shoes will see an in-store release on Thursday, May 17 and an online release on Friday, May 18. The OG Style 36 LX will retail for $85 USD, while the Authentic LX is expected to sell for $75 USD.
Last summer, Vans teamed up with Opening Ceremony to give some other OG classics a suede upgrade.
