After Donda’s House Inc. co-founder Rhymefest asked Drake for help, the nonprofit organization is now looking to distance itself from Kanye West.

Facing backlash for Kanye’s recent controversial statements, Donda’s House is looking to reposition itself without the Chicago native. The organization released an official statement noting that it will no longer be using its name, citing the organization name will be transferred over to the West family.

Founded in 2011 by Kanye, Rhymefest and Donnie Smith, Donda’s House Inc. was named in honor of ‘Ye’s late mother and provided funding for the youth of Chicago through education in the arts, culture and entertainment. But recently, Rhymefest has accused ‘Ye of abandoning the noble cause by refusing to assist in rebuilding the Donda’s House structure. The claims sparked wife Kim Kardashian to call out ‘Fest on Twitter, threatening to forcefully take the organization away.

Stay tuned for more details regarding the future of Donda’s House.

In case you missed it, Kanye West is now looking for a new publisher after following his latest string of bad press.
