Air Jordan 1 "Metallic Purple" May Return This Year
Adding a little shine to a timeless sneaker.

Jordan Brand may be digging into its archives to revive some of its metallic Air Jordan 1s. According to @pinoe77, the “Metallic Purple” iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High may hit retailers this year. Jordan enthusiast haven’t seen this pair since 2009 and it’s rumored that the Jumpman branding found on the tongue will be swapped for the OG Nike Air logo. The sneaker’s base is done in white leather with its underlay, Swoosh logo, laces and WINGS logo done in metallic purple.
No launch date has been confirmed, but we may see this pair hit retailers as a quickstrike drop towards the backend of 2018. Stay tuned for additional details.
