A First Look at Matt Groening's 'Disenchantment' for Netflix
‘The Simpsons’ creator’s first show in 20 years.
After recently teasing a few images on Reddit, The Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening‘s new Netflix animated series Disenchantment has official visuals. The show takes place in a medieval kingdom on the brink called Dreamland. It features a hard-drinking princess named Bean, her feisty elf friend Elfo, and person-demon Luci.
The show will showcase the cast of characters interacting with “ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.” This is Groening’s first show in nearly 20 years, and he has described the show as a series about “how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots.”
