Watch a New Trailer for 'Pokémon the Movie: Everyone's Story'
Releasing later this year.
As well as an upcoming live action film starring Ryan Reynolds, another Pokémon film is in the works. The Pokémon Company has now released a new trailer and synopsis for the anime movie — titled Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story – and is set to release in Japan later this year.
The synopsis released alongside the trailer explains the basic premise of the movie: “in a town where people live with the wind, the legendary Pokémon Lugia appears on the final day of an event that is held once a year known as the Wind Festival, and people enjoy the wind’s grace just like a promise received long ago.” The movie also goes on to show Ash Ketchum and a group of new trainers as they meet each other for the first time. Take a look at the trailer above, and expect it to arrive in Japanese theaters on July 13.
