The Nike Air Max 98 Gets Re-Imagined in "Sail Cream"

In honor of the shoe’s 20th anniversary.

It’s been 20 years since Nike released the original Air Max 98 silhouette. To celebrate the shoe’s anniversary, the brand’s releasing a series of new and classic colorways; the latest being “Sail Cream.” The luxe take on the sneaker balances clean white mesh with sepia nubuck across the upper, and snakeskin detailing along the mudguard and lace reinforcement. Of course, the Air Max 98 wouldn’t be complete without its full-length visible Air Max sole.

Expect the shoe to retail for $170 USD at Nike stores and online come April 20. In other sneaker news, Nike dedicated a shoe to Kobe Bryant’s famous 2006 buzzer beater.
