Highs and Lows & Le Coq Sportif Unite on Summer-Ready Sneaker
Continuing the themes from their previous collaborations.
After recent collaborations with 24 Kilates and mita sneakers, French sportswear label Le Coq Sportif has teamed up with Australian store Highs and Lows. The resulting collaboration sees Highs and Lows work on the LCS R 1000 silhouette, and is the final instalment of previous releases from the two brands.
Earlier sneakers took inspiration from the two label’s locations, with pairs inspired by the Southern Hemisphere Black Swan and the Northern Hemisphere White Swan. For this sneaker, influence comes from young cygnet swans. This collaboration features bright white leather and white grey suede on the upper — a reference to the swan’s feathers — with scallop shell pink featuring on perforated leather and smooth suede at the front of the sneaker as a nod to the bird’s beak.
Lastly, subtle accents in gunmetal navy are added across the sneaker. The collaboration is set to drop on April 21, and will be available from retailers including Hanon and Highs and Lows.
