After a great deal of anticipation, talented singer-songwriter Kali Uchis finally dropped her debut studio album this month. Titled Isolation, the LP featured 15 new records, including collaborations with Tyler, the Creator, Jorja Smith, Thundercat and Tame Impala. Continuing to support the recently-released project, Kali Uchis swiftly revisits the effort for her latest video.

A self-directed piece, the “Get Up” visual shines the spotlight entirely on its creator and moves from an eerie funeral sequence to a seductive journey through the afterlife and beyond. Overall, the clip’s themes are far from the traditional major label production.

You can check out the video for Kali Uchis, “Get Up” above.

Previously Kali Uchis and Tyler, the Creator transformed into Chia Pets for the unique “After the Storm” vignette.
