Hanon Celebrates Hometown With Diadora Collaboration
Coming in a “Granite” colorway.
Scottish sneaker retailer Hanon has teamed up with Diadora for a new collaboration to celebrate the Italian label’s 70th anniversary. The joint release pays tribute to Hanon’s hometown of Aberdeen, taking on a court shoe silhouette of the same name. The sneaker’s colorway is inspired by the granite from the surrounding area that was frequently used in the city’s architecture. The predominantly-gray upper is offset with flashes of red and white, as well as a dark black outsole.
The sneaker — which is made from premium nubuck, suede and kangaroo leather — is finished with silver Hanon and Aberdeen embossing and dual-branded tongues. The Hanon x Diadora “Aberdeen” collaboration is strictly limited to just 200 pairs and will to release exclusively at Hanon on April 7, and will come with a custom box with dustbag, special hangtag, and four lace sets.
