Facebook Is Now Adding an Unsend Message Tool
This after Mark Zuckerberg was caught unsending his own messages.

According to reports from Bloomberg, Facebook will soon be implementing a new feature that allows users of its Messenger app to unsend messages after Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was recently caught retracting messages in light of his company’s ongoing data breach controversy. TechCrunch broke the news last week, after users who had received messages from Zuckerberg and other company executives through Facebook soon discovered those messages mysteriously vanished from their chat logs and files, which now raises concerns of violation of user privacy under Facebook’s terms of service.
“We will now be making a broader delete message feature available. This may take some time,” a Facebook spokeswoman stated in a press release. “Until this feature is ready, we will no longer be deleting any executives’ messages. We should have done this sooner — and we’re sorry that we did not.”
Meanwhile, Facebook is currently dealing with the biggest privacy crisis in its history and has since lost $80 billion USD in stock market value since initial reports.
