Dior Homme's Shield-Style Shades Deflect the Tiny Sunglasses Trend
Back to supersizing.
Following up on the recent appointment of Kim Jones as new Artistic Director, Dior Homme continues its “Go big or go home” MO by releasing statement-making shield-style sunglasses for Spring/Summer 2018. The oversized shades are a stark contrast to the currently trending ’90s/The Matrix-inspired tiny sunglasses trend, while still keeping with Dior’s en-vogue HarDior rave DNA. The sunglasses come bearing a palladium silver-tone framework with the option of an orange or grey flat mirrored lens. Details include engraved logos at the temples and cut-out, black-lacqured temple tips.
You can pick up the Dior Homme shield-style sunglasses for $495 USD a pop at SSENSE now. Let us know what you think of this eyewear style and for something more wearable, check out the Stüssy Eyegear Spring 2018 collection.
