Balenciaga's Lace-Up Speed Trainer Debuts in Tonal Navy
Featuring a comfy memory-foam midsole.

Aside from the monstrous success of its Triple S sneaker, Balenciaga’s Speed Trainer silhouette has also been quick to turn heads since first hitting the scene last spring. Back in December, the signature sock runner welcomed a lacing system — helping to stabilize and secure the wearer’s foot.
First spotted in a core white color scheme, a new rendition has since surfaced, this time sticking with a tonal navy base. The reworked sneaker highlights a breathable sock-like upper with branded tongue tapes, which adds a dose of stylistic flair to an otherwise minimalist design. Sitting below is a chunky memory-foam midsole unit, in addition to rugged rubber outsoles. Priced at $837 USD, you can find these new Balenciaga kicks now at matchesfashion.com.
In case you missed it earlier, Balenciaga drops the Race Runner in a “Bred”-like color scheme.
