Taiwanese Apartment Mixes Classic Materials For a Modern Finish
With the theme of “deconstruction.”

KC Design Studio revamped the interiors of a Taiwanese apartment with a mix of classic materials such as steel, brick, exposed concrete, wood paneling for a style that fuses natural and modern sensibilities. The 125 square meter residence features an elevated arc ceiling that’s separated from the steel girder, expanding the space and creating a “deconstructed” theme. In many rooms, the wall, floor and ceiling are covered in different materials to give visual contrast, while a natural color palette ties the elements together.
