Nike Air Max Penny Makes a Grand Return in "Royal Blue/Gym Red"

It’s been a long while since we’ve seen Nike‘s Air Max Penny model — the last time being back in 2014 — but for 2018, the Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway’s signature basketball shoe makes a slamming return in a slick “Royal Blue/Gym Red” colorway. This time, throwback ’90s classic features a nubuck “Royal Blue” upper with hits of “Gym Red” at the piping, tongue and heel tabs, and Nike insignia throughout. The signature white Air Max sole unit keeps its augmented mudguard, which extends to the side panel displaying a giant red jewel Swoosh, while another dose of “Gym Red” visits the visible Air bubble unit to round out the color scheme. The final touch comes at the heel counter, where “Pros 1/2” is embroidered in white.
