ASSC & Avi Gold Tease Collaborative Designs to Celebrate the Launch of CdG
With more designers likely to follow suit.

Earlier this month, COMME des GARÇONS made quite a bit of noise with news of its first online-only brand dubbed CdG, which was originally expected to hit the scene in July. With that said, both Anti Social Social Club and Avi Gold recently hit up Instagram to tease collaborative shirt designs with the high-end fashion house to help celebrate the impending launch of the new imprint.
The ASSC x CdG shirt remains rather simple in its design language with branding from both labels landing on a clean white T-shirt. Gold’s Better ™ Gift Shop offering, on the other hand, highlights graphic imagery of some in-action marching band caricatures. To help commemorate the momentous launch, the 2018 Golden Week campaign — an initiative to help honor the new brand — is officially underway in all Japan-based COMME des GARÇONS shops. Dover Street Market London, New York and Singapore, in addition to CdG outposts in Paris, Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore will follow suit on May 17.
Stay tuned as more labels/designers are expected to offer respective designs for the new CdG online brand.
