ASICS Reveals the Gel-MAI Knit MT in a Core Black Color Scheme
A new kind of sock-like runner.
ASICS follows up its Gel-MAI “Peacoat Navy” offering with an all-new take on the signature runner. Known as the GEL-Mai Knit MT, the statement mid-top model first graced our pages late last year in both a burgundy and a green model.
This new rendition features a sock-like knit construction with matching black leather overlays, which stylistically formulates a unique cage/lacing system. Sitting directly below, we see a white midsole and a “Sail” outsole combination with signature ASICS branding found on the tongue and sole unit. Priced at ¥20,000 JPY (approximately $186 USD), you can find this new design now at atmos. A stateside release has not yet been confirmed.
