Helder Vices Offers a Deconstructed Take on adidas Orginals Samba Sneaker
Accompanied by a celebratory T-shirt capsule.

After unveiling its Fall/Winter 2018 “All American Climax” collection, Helder Vices recently revealed its latest team up with adidas Originals. Expressing its signature aesthetic on a sneaker for the first time, Helder Vices collaborated on a deconstructed take on the classic Samba sneaker.
Focusing on functionality, designer Gianni Mora reworked the Futsal favorite altering the tongue for more of a slip-on feel. The white Three Stripes found on the high contrast white and black Samba colorway has been replaced by ventilation grommets which also serve as a play on the recognizable branding. While the trail boot style cord lacing system provides a bold contrast and stands out as a major detail of the shoe.
Additionally, accompanying the release of the adidas collaboration, Helder Vices is also dropping a commemorative T-shirt capsule. Comprised of two shirts, the range features evocative graphics that continue the aesthetic language found in Vices’ latest “All American Climax” collection. With the addition of stainless steel snap buttons that allow sleeve length conversion extending the functional focus of the sneaker release.
Set to drop April 17, a limited number of the Helder Vices x Samba will be available on adidas.com with a wider release to follow and the accompanying T-shirt capsule will be available on heldervices.com
