Cardi B‘s album Invasion of Privacy debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. According to Neilsen, the album moved 255,000 equivalent units during its opening week. 103,000 of those were in traditional album sales, which is the biggest sales week for R&B or hip-hop in 2018. The project also set a new Apple Music record for the most streamed album by a female artist in a single week. It achieved 100 million streams worldwide during its opening week, beating the previous record by Taylor Swift’s Reputation. The album was led by “Bodak Yellow” and features guest appearances by Chance the Rapper, SZA, Kehlani, Migos, YG and more.
