Vince Staples Cancels GoFundMe Campaign & Donates Money to Michelle Obama Library
“I expect to hear no further slander.”
Vince Staples launched a GoFundMe campaign last week seeking to raise $2 million for him to “shut the f*ck up forever.” “No songs, no interviews, no anything,” he said. “Get off of my d*ck or fund my lifestyle. The choice is yours.”
The campaign was later revealed to be a promotional tool for his new single, “Get the F*ck Off My D*ck.” Staples has now announced that he will be shutting down the campaign (which raised a total of $2,022) for good and plans to refund all donations made.
In addition, Vince took to Twitter to say that he will match the donations made and donating the full amount to the Michelle Obama library of Norf Long Beach. Check out his tweets below.
