Shredmaster Keith and G-Shock Cruise the Streets of NYC
Launching the DW6900 in black, grey, and olive colorways.
A quarter of the way through its 35th anniversary, G-SHOCK unveils its newest DW6900 series. The timepiece imprint revamps the classic silhouette in a set of two-tone colorways: black with khaki accents, olive green with orange accents and slate grey with blue accents. Launched in 1996, the DW6900 silhouette was introduced as the DW6600, but shortly thereafter became the DW6900 which gained popularity in the US market. G-Shock’s heritage has evolved into its signature and rugged appeal we all know and love today. The model features a 50mm case, shock resistance, 200m water resistance, EL backlight, flash alert, alarm, countdown timer and 1/100th second stopwatch.
Shot in the Bronx borough of NYC, 18-year-old skate king Keith Hardy, a.k.a. Shredmaster Keith, showed us his favorite skate stomping grounds. From River Ave and the Bronx Courthouse, we caught Shredmaster’s flowing through the streets, wall-riding and kickflipping while showcasing his authentic skills and absolute toughness in his territory.
