Nardwuar Attempts to Throw off Desiigner in Latest Interview
“Yeah, that’s my grandfather, you crazy man.”
Nardwuar was out and about at SXSW this past week where he caught up with a couple of rapper friends in the process. This latest encounter finds the “doot doodle doo doot” media personality chopping it up with G.O.O.D. Music’s own Desiigner. During the 15-minute interview, Nardwuar dug up some intel about the Brooklyn rapper that threw him off at certain points, especially when he presented Desiigner with a vintage copy of Sidney “Guitar Crusher” Selby’s “Weak for Your Love” single — Selby just so happened to be his grandfather. “You dig? Yeah, that’s my grandfather, man,” Desiigner said. “You crazy, man. You crazy. Shout out my grandfather, Guitar Crusher. It’s an original, man.”
