adidas Releases a Classic Red, White and Blue "Tri-Color" Superstar
Perfect for July 4.

Independence Day may still be a couple months away, but German giants adidas are releasing its Superstar in a patriotic red, white and blue iteration. The shelltoe sneaker bares a mostly white make-up with a blue heel counter and alternating blue stripes with a red stripe placed in the centre. Check out the images above and look for the sneakers to be available at select adidas Originals retailers such as Notre for $80 USD.
The Superstar was originally conceived back in 1969 as a basketball show, which quickly transcended into becoming a cult classic for sneakerheads. If you’re a fan of the “Tri-Color,” check out the latest adidas NMD “Tri-Color” pack.
