This New Rapper Sounds Just Like Young Thug
Kyng James also wants to drop ‘Slime Season 3’ before Thugger.
It really seems like rappers are purposely trying to sound like each other nowadays. ItsRoutine, who was featured on Erykah Badu’s “Hotline Bling”-themed mixtape But You Caint Use My Phone, sounds pretty much identical to the Canadian rapper. When Desiigner first started buzzing with “Panda,” some people were saying how his style kind of resembles Future’s. This new guy called Kyng James, unearthed by DJ Akademiks, falls into one of these cases too. The young rapper not only dropped a new song/video titled “Bloodaz” last month, where he’s trying to sound and look like Young Thug, Kyng’s also announced that he was going to drop Slime Season 3 before Thugger does, in the same way Thug released Barter 6 before Lil Wayne put out Tha Carter VI.
