Karhu's “Linnut” Pack Part 2 Takes Flight for Spring/Summer 2018
Taking inspiration from exotic Finnish birds.
Kanye West‘s favorite Finnish sneaker brand Karhu returns this season with a summer ready collection. The new “Linnut” Pack Part 2 takes inspiration from Finland’s love of bird watching, with each sneaker representing one of the exotic birds that reside there. The second Linnut (Finnish for “birds”) release consists of two Aria models and three Synchron Classic silhouettes, all crafted from premium pigskin suede and breathable nylon mesh.
The Aria sees a color blocked makeover throughout the heel, arch and toe, creating a bold look like the feathers of the birds they are modelled after. On the other-hand, the Synchron Classic keeps its ’90s look with “Synchron” lacing across the forefoot, also taking on more subtle tones of earthy hues of blue, green and brown to provide a more natural feel.
