John Lennon's 1969 Monkey Bike Just Sold for $77,000 USD
An original Honda Z50A.

John Lennon‘s Honda Z50A motorbike, aka the Monkey Bike, from 1969 was just auctioned off for £56,250 GBP (apprximately $77,563 USD). The vintage automobile was bought by Lennon in the late ’60s and was used during his time in Tittenherst Park country house before relocating to New York City in 1971.
The largely unrestored and original Beatles memorabilia is in running order with “matching” frame and engine numbers. It also comes with an extensive history file including a green log book, old MoTs and Honda dating letter. John Lennon was seen riding this Honda Z50A with his son Julian cruising on the back.
Take a look at the bike above and head over to H&H Auctions for more details. In case you missed it, Michael Jordan’s game-worn Converse Fastbreaks from his 1982 NCAA championship year are now up for auction.
