Jaguar Reveals Powerful F-Pace SVR Model
One of the quickest SUV’s on the road.
British car manufacturer Jaguar has officially unveiled its upcoming F-Pace SVR model as we approach the New York Auto Show. The new vehicle mixes elements from Jaguar’s iconic sports cars and SUVs to produce a powerful car described by its designer Ian McCallum as “ridiculous.”
Key features of the car include Jaguar Land Rover’s 5-liter V8 engine, which gives the car 550 horsepower, an estimated 0-60mph speed of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 176mph. All of this combines to make the car one of the quickest SUVs around. Elsewhere, Jaguar has upgraded the mechanics and improved its aerodynamics from previous models.
Similarly, the car’s interior features lightweight sports seats in quilted leather, and a sport gear selector shifter taken from Jaguar’s F-Type model. The F-Pace SVR is set to arrive at dealerships this summer, with pricing starting at $80,985 USD.
